Many national and state parks like Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Snow Canyon State Park, and Quail Creek State Park are nearby, and these enable you to build a vacation around your business trip to the area.The Dixie Center is the area’s main convention center, while many hotels in St. George and Springdale offer convention and meeting space as well. St. George is easily accessible from all over the nation and world. By air, the St. George Municipal Airport (SGU) is served by several daily flights by Delta and United airlines through Los Angeles (LAX) and Salt Lake City (SLC). By road, Interstate 15 traverses the area, and Las Vegas is about a two hour drive to the southwest while Salt Lake City is four hours to the north on the freeway. The intersection of Interstate 15 and Interstate 70 is only two hours north of St. George. Many bus and shuttle companies also offer service from Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. Taxi and car rental services are available within St. George.
