National Park Vacation Packages
When visiting southern Utah, Zion should not be the only destination on your national park vacation itinerary
Approximately 2.5 million visitors every year visit southern Utah on their Zion National Park vacations. The park boasts 229 square miles of picturesque cliff-and-canyon landscapes that include forested plateaus, narrow canyons, hanging gardens, waterfalls, diverse plant and animal life and the park’s signature formations, its enormous rock monoliths that tower 2,000 to 3,000 feet above the Zion Canyon floor. Zion Canyon is the park’s most popular section, boasting variety of trails that are appropriate for the entire family, including Riverside Walk, Weeping Rock and Emerald Pools.
Your Zion National Park vacation can also include explorations of other national parks within easy driving distance of Zion, such as Grand Canyon National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park. Bryce Canyon is a series of natural amphitheaters displaying colorful rock pinnacles, fins, arches and spires. Grand Canyon, one of the seven natural wonders of the world, is a deep chasm that is an average of one mile deep and 10 miles wide from rim to rim. A national park vacation with all three of these on your itinerary will be a rewarding, scenic experience. A few of the crown jewels of the national park system, these parks will help you appreciate Mother Nature’s handiwork.
