Located next to the premier convention center in southern Utah, St. George’s Rosenbruch Wildlife Museum exhibits over 300 species of wildlife from around the world in life-like dioramas. Visitors meander through the 25,000-square-foot facility via a quarter mile pathway that leads through natural looking representations of the forests of North America, the mountains of Asia and the plains of Africa. The museum has an interactive children’s room featuring touchable animals, puzzles, animal pelts and a full-size treehouse. Southern Utah’s other natural history attraction is the St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site at Johnson Farm, which shows off more than 1,000 dinosaur tracks. It also includes a visitor center displaying other dinosaur remains. These unique specimens are the only ones of their kind in Utah. St. George is an ideal vacation spot for families with children interested in dinosaurs and wildlife.
